I love taking an image and pushing it along a variety of paths. This one began as a simple iphone composite last year, then was transferred with other images onto a panel using gel medium. I then photographed that panel and have continued compositing it on the iphone. ”Finding Her Parts” series is intriguing to me because it allows me to make new discoveries both in a process and in myself. I believe here she has subdued parts of herself in response to being more reflective and yet the brightness from her skirt remains in order to stay connected.
